    We are currently looking for a sales representative for roofing and waterproofing in the Maritimes. You have experience and knowledge in the field of roofing and waterproofing system. Under the responsibility of your manager you will have to travel throughout the territory and your responsibilities will be:

    • To be responsible for sales in a specific territory.
    • To be responsible for prospecting and soliciting new clients.
    • To be able to meet realistic sales goals.
    • Develop new markets and new customers in a defined territory to ensure sales and product growth; the representative must be comfortable with the cold call.
    • Build a business plan to meet and exceed sales objectives (by product line) according to the objectives of the territory.
    • Listening to clients in order to identify their needs and offer them the best solution to their needs.
    • Create a growth plan on the territory by building long-term relationships with roofers, maintenance manager, real estate manager, in short a very diverse clientele, as well as developing and respecting a plan for regular visits to customers .

    Act as project manager

    • Investigate problems reported by customers and propose solutions.
    • Perform a technical follow-up of the roof work in accordance with the installation standards.
    • Write the opinions and memo describing the problematic situations.
    • Participate in the follow-up of plans and specifications. Drafting of technical specifications.
    • Complete site reports for each visit.
    • Report to Project Authority or Technical Coordinator.
    • Carry out surveys, expertises on roofs.
    • Comply with the safety measures in force.


    Qualifications required:

    • A minimum of 5 to 10 years experience selling technical solutions.
    • Comfortable to sell a value-added product.
    • Ease with cold call - be comfortable with active solicitation.
    • Ideally, training in civil engineering or architecture or other training related to the construction industry could be an asset.
    • Mobility to travel throughout the territory.
    • Proficiency in French and English (oral and written).
    • Mastery of basic software: Word, Excel, Outlook and other common working tools.
    • Knowledge of AutoCad: basic knowledge required.
