    Description:

    Reporting to the sales manager of the Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto regions, the job holder’s main role is to promote and sell the company’s products and services within the assigned territory to customers (specialty stores, plumbing wholesalers and plumbers) to increase the company’s sales.

    Works closely with the sales manager to develop sales strategies, promotions, prospecting activities, and other efforts to support sales growth.
    • Collaborates with his supervisor to participate in the annual plan for client meetings to maintain positive relationships and increase the level of business regarding the following:
    ✓ Strategic positioning of products in the showroom
    ✓ Strategies for introducing new products
    ✓ Training for retailers’ sales force
    • Analyzes the potential of the territory/market, identifies prospects (off and online) and helps develop their business potential with the company.
    • Follows up on sales in the assigned territory and prepares status reports.
    • Follows up with customers and resolves problems related to the company’s products and/or services.
    • Performs competitive monitoring.
    • Represents the company in trade shows.
    • Keeps abreast of the industry’s best practices and trends.

     

    Compétences essentielles:

    University degree or equivalent experience.
    • Interest and aptitude for sales and customer service.
    • Strong persuasion and communication skills.
    • English language proficiency for spoken and written correspondence.
    • Knowledge of the plumbing field is an asset.
